About the
Project
HU Movies is a personal project built purely for practice: a single film detail page for an imaginary streaming platform, inspired by the layout and interaction patterns of real services like Netflix and Prime Video.
The goal here was less about product thinking and more about the craft of turning a design into working HTML and CSS: spacing, typography, responsive layout, and all the small details that make an interface feel finished.

I built this in Cursor, using Claude and Codex to help write and refine the HTML and CSS. I would describe what I wanted, review what came back, then adjust it by hand until the spacing, states, and responsiveness felt right.
That process matters to me beyond this one project. Being able to read code, ask the right questions, and push back on a suggestion is exactly what makes it easier to work closely with front-end engineers, not just hand off a design and hope for the best.
